Positive: Units are very clean, building feels safe, conveniently located to visit family in Newton! Laundry in the units was a huge plus for us since we were traveling with a 10 month old. Also a full size kitchen was great! Check in is easy, I was a bit confused at first trying to located the lockbox and which door to go in since the lock boxes are located a little farther down the building than the main entrance door but once you located the lock boxes and get your key just hold the fob against the keypad on the door for the plant one lofts and it’ll buzz you in. Owners were also very accommodating to us, letting us extend our stay for a few days in order to attend a funeral.

Negative: This property was lacking a few things that would really make it an amazing experience. Bed was comfy but a bit firm(I assume these units are fairly new so probably just a new mattress). The rest of the furniture is not very comfortable. Couch, chairs, etc all fairly cheap furniture so wasn’t great for long sittings. I work remote so I spent a lot of time during the day in the units while my wife was visiting family and I found it difficult to find a good spot to sit for long enough. If you’re not planning to spend a ton of time at the unit this probably won’t be an issue for you. No coffee filters or back up paper towels, they had dish pods for the dishwasher but no dish soap to hand wash dishes (baby bottles in our case). A few extra towels would have been nice but with having the laundry in the unit this wasn’t a problem. A couple extra blankets also would have been a nice touch! Lastly if you’re a family just consider that the bedroom has no ceiling it’s just open to the rest of the apartment so this makes nap time/bedtime/evenings a little difficult if you have little ones with you as they can hear everything in the unit from the bedroom so TV after they go to bed or even talking without waking them can be tough. All in all I think this was the best option in Newton for our little family while we were in town since it was an entire apartment, had laundry, was very clean, full size kitchen with a few minor additional tweaks it would have been perfect!
