Our cottage is very spacious, it has 3 levels with 60 feet of private lakefront with a natural, rustic setting.
Top floor has full bath, and 2 very large loft style bedrooms queen beds each with private deck.
Main floor has queen size bedroom with full bath, fully equipped kitchen including washer and dryer, spacious living and dining room with TV and balcony lakefront deck; large side porch with adjoining 20 foot plus deck.
Bottom floor has large living room. This room has a sliding glass door that opens onto a lakefront deck that accesses a patio dock with bench seat End May through October 1.
In winter, when the lake freezes, our location is perfect for ice fishing and ice sailing as well as local winter activities and events.

We chose to purchase this Waneta Lake property due to it’s 25-30 foot deep waters which make it ideal for water sports as well as year round fishing for bass and musky. The lake is very kayak friendly!
We enjoy all of the activities that the finger lakes offer us to include hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, antiquing as well as visiting shops and museums to include the nearby “Glen Curtiss Aircraft Museum” and historic “Great Western Winery Tour”.
Most of all we enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and serene starlit evenings from our wrap around deck with family and friends!
***Rentals are weekly only during in season summer months. Sunday to Sunday Mid June through end August. All other times 2 night minimum.
