Sparkling clean and recently updated end unit townhouse in a the peaceful, wooded community of Steward’s Watch. This is a wonderful family friendly, sunny end unit with a swimming pool, tennis court, pickleball, and boat ramp for kayaking, canoeing or fishing/crabbing. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (master suite has full bath with an easy walk in shower, 2 bed rooms with hall bath/tub and half bath downstairs). There is also an outside shower. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been recently renovated. Wood floors span the downstairs.
Perfect location: the home is 1/2 mile to the downtown area (0.7 miles to the sand). It is a pedestrian friendly walk or bike ride. The unit also includes a free parking pass for the beach and downtown. The trolley stop is a short block from the front door for a fun and scenic ride that only costs a quarter.
Private Community: This is one of the few Bethany Beach communities that offers a swimming pool! It's a perfect way to wind down after a day at the beach. Steward's Watch is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The streets are tucked into a quiet wooded neighborhood that provides added safety for kids to bike and play. There is a private boardwalk leading to the community dock on the Bethany Canal where you can enjoy crabbing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. If you are looking for additional exercise, there are also tennis courts to enjoy. Bike and boat rentals can be found nearby.
Bethany offers a family friendly experience including free weekend concerts at the bandstand, children's shows at the town hall, an inviting library, bike paths, shops and restaurants to enjoy. The boardwalk is the perfect place for a morning stroll, ice cream while enjoying a concert or dinner overlooking the ocean. The town sponsors weekly outdoor movies on the beach and bonfires with marshmallows for families to enjoy.
Property: Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The generous sized master bedroom has a queen bed, skylight, and a full bath with walk-in shower (with pull bar for safety). The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and full closet. The third bedroom has sturdy wood twin bunk beds. There is an upstairs full bath with tub and shower. The kitchen and baths are all recently renovated. There is an open concept floor plan with oversized windows and a sunny breakfast nook. Screened outdoor deck with gas grill for outdoor dining or relaxing in the evening.
The kitchen is fully supplied with all the essentials for cooking: pots and pans, utensils, serving dishes/platters, grilling utensils, coffee maker, toaster oven, refrigerator, electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher. There is large kitchen table for gatherings, an outdoor table and a sunny breakfast nook. A washer and dryer are on the bedroom level.
There are TV's upstairs and downstairs and free wifi available. The living room includes comfy and cozy seating on Restoration Hardware sofas and oversized chairs with down cushions.
