About this space:
The Cottage is private, spacious and surrounded by a peaceful ambience. Perfect for a couple but can accommodate 3 adults. Its centrally located just a few blocks from Coconut Grove and Coral Way. You can walk to restaurants, parks, museums and shopping centers. The Cottage is minutes from Coral Gables, South Miami, University of Miami, Miami Int'l Airport, Calle Ocho/Little Havana, South Miami, Brickell, Wynwood, Midtown/Design District and South Beach. The space:
Originally built in 1924, the Cottage is part of the Silver Bluff Estate. It has been completely remodeled and beautifully furnished. Its so spacious and cozy you may never want to leave! It is perfect for a couple. The covered wrap around porch is perfect to sit outside and relax and/or BBQ, and/or work (if you must!). The kitchenette has a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker and complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water. There are dishes, cups, glasses and stemware and serving/mixing dishes. A portable cooktop is available for long term stays. The dining table folds out to a perfect place to dine and/or work while enjoying the view of the yard. The living room has a futon style sofa that opens to a bed for a 3rd person. In the bedroom, a Stearns and Foster queen size bed with clean and deodorized pillows and luxurious sheets await you for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom has a nice size shower and is equipped with clean, fresh towels, makeup washcloths, a bath mat, blow dryer. We also provide complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner and razors.

Guest access:
The best way to enjoy the area is walking or biking around or hopping on the Trolley or Metrorail. You can walk around the neighborhood and see people jogging and walking their dogs. You can walk to Coral Way, or venture to Coconut Grove, or Coral Gables or South Miami. They are all close. There are bike rentals close by and public buses are 1 block away and the Coconut Grove Metrorail Station is 4 blocks away.

Other things to note:
We can provide an queen size air mattress for a 3rd person who would be uncomfortable sleeping on the sofa bed. We can also provide a portable hotplate with pots and pans and utensils for long term stays (7+ days) .
