Welcome to Fishing Tales Cabin, which is a great place to come and enjoy nature in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. You may get to spot some of our resident wildlife friends while visiting; white tail deer, black bears, chipmunks and eagles to name a few.
We are located in the Quiet & Peaceful Lake Naomi Club Community with 24/7 Ranger Patrols.
Our home is a wonderful getaway that is situated in a prime location close to major area attractions such as Kalahari, Camelback Mountain, Jack Frost Big Boulder, Pocono Raceway /NASCAR, Jim Thorpe & Stroudsburg, Whitewater Rafting, Tannersville Outlets, Vineyards, and Mt. Airy Casino to name a few.
There are many opportunities close by to enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, etc. and in the summer there are state parks that have swimming lakes and beaches, boat rentals, and much more. Our favorites to visit are Hickory Run State Park, Tobyhanna State Park, Francis E. Walter Dam, Lehigh Gorge's Rail Trail White Haven Entrance, and Brady's Lake.
While visiting us, be sure to check out the Jubilee Restaurant, Mountaintop Lodge's Café & Coffee shop, and 940 Junction or Tutrone’s for Ice cream (Seasonal), which are all staples in our community.
We use our vacation home frequently, so it is important to us for our guests to be respectful of our neighbors, community, and of course our property. Please read our house rules before requesting to book.

●Must be minimum age of 25 to rent per our township’s rental ordinance. We may ask for ID to verify ages.
● No sub leasing /arbitrage.
●No excessive noise /unruly behavior. We are not a party house.
●Our Township ordinance allows us to rent to 8 people max for short term rentals under 29 days.
●No fireworks or floating lanterns.
●Driveway Parking for 3-4 cars depending on car size. No street parking is allowed. If you have large vehicles, only plan on 3 cars max for our driveway.
●2025 Temporary Membership Information: For stays of 1-week or longer, you have the option of purchasing a temporary Lake Naomi Club membership for access to club amenities: Lake, beaches, fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, golf, clubhouse dining, etc. This is completely optional and not necessary to rent our home. Visit the Lake Naomi Club’s website membership tab for additional info & additional fees associated. (Weekend passes are not available.)
There is a ton to do in our area without using the paid club amenities, and I can provide you with my list of things to do in the area.
