This 2 story year round home (1,124 square feet) located on the shores of Cayuga lake is the perfect place for your Finger Lakes vacation. It comfortably sleeps up to 4-5 people offering lake views from all rooms. The open-floor plan on the lake level makes a great location for family gatherings, relaxing and dining. The second level consists of two bedrooms, one with a brand-new Queen bed and another complete with a Queen/XL bunkbed, both having access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. For guests, there is full size sleeper sofa in the living area with a high quality memory foam mattress. An additional 1/2 bath is conveniently located off the kitchen. For an additional fee of $75, Linens (100 percent cotton sheets and towels) could be provided. Pillows and blankets are provided at no additional cost. Queen master bed is brand-new, installed May 2023 and the beds in guest room are Tuft and Needle.
For your comfort and convenience, Jacob's Landing features heating, and in-season window A/C units. In kitchen you’ll find a washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, microwave and has many of the kitchen amenities of home. The rear features a propane/Weber grill for outdoor cooking. Large flat screen T.V is located conveniently in living room
area above gas fire place on the lake level. Parking is conveniently located for 3 vehicles close to the main entry. Exterior living spaces can be found on dock and on the deck that extends along one side and front toward the lake.
The private waterfront (25’) has a lot to offer. A 24 foot private dock has adequate room to dock your motor boat and there is a hoist for your jet ski or PWC. Swimming is easily accessible yet shallow and fish can be caught directly from the deck and dock. The beach is mostly break-wall and there is a ladder off the dock to a shallow area for easy water access, as well as at the end for deeper water access. The water depth runs from roughly 6 inches (most shallow) to roughly 3-3.5 feet deep so please use caution when diving at end of dock!
Jacob's Landing is ideally located at the north end of Cayuga with convenient access to the Seneca Cayuga Canal system with its many locks that allow you to find your way to Seneca Lake, Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and beyond. For your dining pleasure, there are a few restaurants in town, namely Parker’s and located just down the road you will find the delightfully quaint Wolfies Marina restaurant right on the lake, where you can even drive your boat up to if you choose. For shoppers, many business services can be found nearby in charming Seneca Falls, home of the famous Women's Rights National Historic Park and at the Premium Outlet Mall located in Waterloo. Jacob’s Landing is also within walking distance is the Cayuga State Park known for great hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, camping and more.
